(Soap) bubbles and fruit

This isn't what Photogq @gq had in mind, I'm sure, when she gave me the challenge of bubbles and fruit. But I procrastinated and forgot this a.m. to buy carbonated water, plus just didn't have the time to work out set up for the "bubbles clinging to slice of fruit" shot I'd like someday to achieve. I was about to give up and go to bed with nothing, and then decided to at least post something. Posted now at a few minutes to midnight.
@gq My version of bubbles and fruit. If I get around to trying a set up with carbonated water, I'll try to remember to tag you.

It's odd but interesting - in the wine industry they call it a "clean-skin".

Hi, Mary. How about for your Get Pushed challenge, you take a different look at autumn. Find something different about autumn to photograph, other than pumpkins and colored leaves (although you can include them) - something obscure, an unusual angle,.... good luck, have fun!

This one looks especially nice on black and if she didn't specify what kind of bubbles I think you have met the challenge beautifully

@joysabin @seattlite @grammyn @gazzatron Thank you!

Gary, what do they call a "clean skin" -- an apple? grapes that aren't dirty? Oh, wait...I just googled it. Unbranded wine. Methinks you were doing a play on words...the soap bubbles being the "clean" element. Ha ha ha

Katy, I'm hoping these were bubbly enough to count. Thanks for taking the time to view on black.

A literal interpretation and why not? Made me smile anyway!
