Bee

Tim’s challenge to me: “Since this is wild month, why don't you photograph wildlife?” My first offering of wildlife is rather small — but this bee was what was at hand.
@tdaug80 here’s my first bit of wildlife — hope it counts as I don’t usually think of that word being used for insects, but it is wild and alive.

Of course a bee is wildlife. You haven't tamed this one have you? You might try to get your subject looking at you or in profile for a better composition. I know; wildlife can be rather uncooperative when it comes to a photo shoot.

@tdaug80 Ha! With the limitations of my iPhone and difficulty seeing what I got on the screen until I got to some shade or indoors, this was the only one with the bee in focus. I may bring the camera (Nikon Coolpix 9900) outside and see if I can get something clearer. It’s so dusty and dirty inside though, I’ve been displeased with many of the the pictures I’ve taken with it and have laid it aside for the most part. It probably will cost more than it’s worth to send it off to be cleaned.

Such fresh colours, how kind of the bee to land on a colour coordinated plant!

The bee and the flowers make a nice shot. Love the details and the colors.
