Mrs. Page Bronnenberg has a first name

It’s Henrietta.

This is three old magazine illustrations from my large collection of pictures lying one on another. The middle woman, photographed in her kitchen, is identified at the bottom of the photo as Mrs Page Bronnenberg. So often in the past women were listed as “Mrs. [insert husband’s name]” Now you know this woman had a first name of her own. Curiosity led me to census records on Ancestry.com. Hello, Henrietta.

I am making this serve for the “vintage” day of the One Week Only challenge — a bit belatedly, as I’ve been busy the last few days. Posting a few days late onto the correct date for the challenge.
So good to know her!
Good that you took the time to investigate.
A lovely shot of her and A FAV!

What a nice idea. I love that you took the time to give her name back. The composition is very well done as well.

Definitely vintage. I have noticed the fact that women were identified as Mrs. ____ _____ (husband's first and last name). Has always pissed me off (excuse the language) but I'm not clamoring to burn the book/paper/article etc. as some folks feel the need to do because I understand that right or wrong that's the way things were done then. Sorry for the rant, Mary and anyone else who reads this.
