My long-time "favorite rock"

For some reason this rock has always been special to me, since my childhood. Perhaps originally because of the slightly sparkly appearance of parts of it (poorly shown here) but who knows absolutely why one rock or other object will call to us out of all the others. I've always been one who liked "pretty rocks." Posted here for the macro-personal challenge ending today, and for my get pushed challenge to photograph something my 10 year old self would have (the challenge I gave my partner and she turned around and gave it back to me also.)

@shesnapped Ashley, I took this with both challenges in mind. Sorry I didn't tag you right away; it was more for the macro challenge, but fit the get pushed challenge also. I loved this rock as a kid and still do. I never took a picture of it back then, so making up for lost time.
