Saturday at Hy Vee (inside)

On Saturday I went to Hy Vee, and as I approached the store I saw two tremendously long lines of parents and children. One of the lines led to Santa Claus in the store (at the far end of the salad bar), and the other to a pen outside with reindeer that the kids could pet.

@farmreporter hmmm maybe. I’m sure he was probably exhausted by the end of the day. But he didn’t seem especially tired to me. Maybe that particular shot of him reaching into the basket looked, as you said, all tuckered out. I think I chose it because it was a good clear view of his face unobstructed by his arm or a kid. I’ve posted another shot in my Alternates album.

@randystreat ha ha — I don’t think so. Could be coal 🤔 but I think the basket was full of little trinkets or treats he gave the kiddies.
