Bird collage 1

@kathyboyles Kathy's challenge to me: "find a setting on your camera that you haven’t tried before. You can then edit the photo as you need to to make it presentable." I experimented with a number of features I hadn't used yet -- choosing auto-focus points, shooting continuous shots rather than single -- and the 75 to 300mm lens I had gotten out only twice before briefly. I stayed inside (why, I don't know, as it was nice outside) I learned a number of things about how to deal with the fact that I'm still shooting through a window that could use a bit of cleaning and a screen that I'd love to be rid of since the window no longer opens.
Hi Mary I love continuous shots when it comes to animals doing their things. It looks like you got some great one of the birds. I would love to know your techniques for dealing with the screen as I have several that sometimes interfere with photos. In any event we are partners this week. I was wondering if you would like to do a photo that is taken from above, IE, looking down on something, seeing something from a new perspective perhaps.
