Up-Down Only! by mcsiegle

Up-Down Only!

My get pushed partner, Jill, gave me the challenge of showing opposites. I’ve layered two shots of two sections of a stairway in the building where I work.

In keeping with the university’s COVID-19 policies, since this side stairway isn’t wide enough for two opposite streams of socially distanced people at one time, they made everything aiming at the exit door (which makes sense — if there was an emergency, you’d want everything aiming at the exit). So down only from the floors above and up only from the ground floor level. But since most of the classrooms in this building have been taken off-line at present, meaning no classes can be scheduled in them due to the results of ventilation studies and size of room, there are very few students passing through this building at any one time. The hallways are very lonely places, so the chances of meeting more than one or two people (at the most) on the stairs are slim. But like the good citizen I am I’ll go up the front stairway, instead of this one.
@jillbrowning I hope you like this.

This is a very intriguing shot! Good to know you don't go "Up the Down Staircase"

Ooh were partners, shall I type it here or tell you on Monday??

I can't wait!!! Could you do a photo to depict "links" but not a photo of a chain.
