My get pushed challenge this week from Val was street photography. Good challenge as it’s difficult (intimidating) for me. I didn’t really do it justice, I’m afraid. I haven’t gone a lot of places except to work and campus is very deserted. On Saturday (1/9) I went to the supermarket in the morning and my “street” (parking lot) photography is posted back to the Thursday slot. In the evening as Frank was making dinner we discovered a couple of items we needed that I hadn’t gotten, so I ran back to the store. Posting this on the blank Friday spot.
@valpetersen Trying to make it seem a bit more artistic by converting to B&W. Probably not, but I think it is my favorite of the 3 I’m posting.

All three meet the street photo challenge just fine. I too think this is my favorite.

I like the b/w and the mood it conveys. Makes me study the image a bit more and grabs my attention

I ended up converting to BW too - good move to make the familiar more interesting to view. This works very well in BW - nailed the challenge, I'd say!

Good for you for stepping out of your comfort zone! Difficult to do street photography when there were no people to photograph. This one turned out great.

Hard to do and it looks as though not many people there.
