Get Pushed 407 #2

My get pushed challenge from Sally @salza was to do a flat lay. The dinosaurs have been getting a little restless lately, what with all the staying in and home, and needed something to occupy them. We need to do more photo shoots. I'm starting to get more comfortable with my camera. Hooray!

Now for this one, I told them I was not taking any and all volunteers, I needed a couple of dinosaurs who had very recognizable shapes from above. (I had to explain the get pushed challenge at that point.) The Plesiosaurus and the Triceratops Twin Brother fit the bill splendidly. We started out with a darker fabric background, but eventually settled on the white paperboard background. We did, however, have one challenge that we hadn't had with the fabric -- shadows. How to minimize the shadows was what we had to figure out. It took at little rearranging of dinosaur position (They were very patient with this until I came back hours later to redo it just one more time from a different angle for an issue that had nothing to do with shadows.)
@swchappell Thanks for the FAV -- You are quick! A few minutes after I posted it, I decided to take it into PicMonkey and put something on it in the way of framing. I'd be interested to know if you think it enhances, detracts, or...?

excellent Mary. I am glad they were so cooperative for you too! I like the choice of edit you used for this

@salza I ended up with this and another -- well, I have a third that is a half and half shot, but not sure I want to post it. So you get dinosaurs and cans (separately).

@mcsiegle I think the frame enhances this one, definitely, and a good frame choice, too - I think it goes perfectly with the older pics and the dinos crawling around.

Nice one Mary. I agree that the framing is a good choice.

This is lovely. I too like the frame that you have used. The two pictures on the left hand side have to be the forefathers of the Rhinoceros - an animal that is very close to my heart.

A very nice complete concept, the vintage framing and all items really add to this project.

I like how you have thematically collected your objects for the flat-lay.
