Granddaughter visited this morning, so it is a given that she's my image of the day. She's constantly on the move, and this is one of only a few in focus photos, severely cropped because she was tilted at an odd angle. I do love that sparkle in her eye with that hint of a smile, and while I miss her very blue eyes I like the tones that b&w bring to this image.
This is exquisite April: the limited and delicate tonal range produces a softness in the image that is entirely appropriate for a little one - it emphasises her innocence. Just lovely.
