Blue Ridge Scenic Railway

While we were visiting the quaint town of Blue Ridge, Georgia, the train was at the station. This gave me a nice photo op. For much more information about this railway, see: http://brscenic.com/about-blue-ridge-scenic-railway/
Cool shot! Did you ride the train? I looked at your link... that's a pretty long trip.

So wonderfully quaint! I love the setting and would love to take a scenic train ride through the mountains. Need to add that to my "bucket list" :)

I love American railway engines. So iconic!! That is a great cats cradle of wires behind it!

We can't have too many train photos. The dark blue paint job photographs well.

All those wires Danny! Sorry, I know the train is the main event! Gorgeous engine - how far does it travel on its scenic route? Oops! I see you have provided a link.

PS Just checked: 4 hours 26 miles. About the same as our Devil's Bridge railway but your one uses a train twice as big!
