When I walked along the path to the back door, I saw a thrush who had obviously been eating something tasty and I thought I must get a shot of her. Anyway, must be getting more mad by the day because I went to the water butt and got some slugs that were clinging inside to give to this thrush. I knew that she would reward me with some pics and I wasn't wrong! Thrushes are quite shy birds really but I'm sure that they know that you like them because she obviously hung around. I always talk to the birds and anyone hearing me would think I was crazy but they know that I'm gentle and wouldn't hurt them.
nice shot they bang the shells of snails until they get the reward of the snail inside, if you can try snails next time I had a thrush do this once in front of me, like you say its so nice to get close to nature, I also talk to the birds fav
