Winchester Library

Visited the library to see an exhibition of paintings in their dedicated gallery. Could have spent far longer here with so many shelves of books to explore! The building had a spacious but warm feel to it and I liked the way it had been designed using curves to draw the eye! A good opportunity for a bit of 'people watching' too!

@cmp That is very sad. Libraries are so important in communities. Ours was threatened some years ago, but there was so much opposition, it was refurbished instead!
