This time at Mottisfont. There is something so peaceful about crypts and this was no exception. The sun coming through the small windows cast the long shadows and I have given it a touch of 'split toning' to emphasise the curves.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Thank you Jackie! Think I was just lucky as the sun was shining! Was a bit surprised that it wasn't darker though!! Thank you for the fav too!
@megpicatilly jus looked at your Exif info, next time I'm there will look to see if camera goes up to that iso and try to copy you! What's split toning??
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Thank you for letting me know about the Exif info - I had no idea you could do that - really interesting. Choose a sunny day - I see it was taken at lunchtime, so the light was good at that time. Split toning is when you colour the highlights one tone (in this case a yellow tone) and the shadows another tone (blue) The idea is to use complementary colours from the colour wheel, so opposites on the wheel. It is very easy to do in Photoshop. This sounds like I know what I'm talking about, but I don't really!!
