Heron - Posing!

Don't think I have ever been so close to a heron. We have one locally but he is so shy and flies off the moment he sees someone (or perhaps just me?!). This one in Kensington Gardens sat there for us to photograph, looking very stately!

He really was gorgeous wasn't he! Your processing is amazing and you've managed to get rid of that post/chain that you were bothered about.

@cottiac This was taken when he 'agreed' to move very slightly to the right which meant I didn't have to spend hours in Photoshop cloning out the post and chain!!!
