Lovely photo. It is sad when they drop their pedals. Some of that (how soon they drop) is due to the particular variety, and also at what particular tumenof the blooming cycle they are cut. But there is a technique for cutting them a second time underwater before putting them in the vase that can prolong how long they last in the vase as a cut flower. If you are not familiar with it, just let me know and I will be happy to go into a little more detail about it. Though there isn’t too much.
