This afternoon I had to make an attempt to get back to studying - have an assignment to submit within two weeks, followed by two more before revision kicks in for exams in Sept. I have to pass this year no matter what - no pressure!!!!!
Its hard studying when you work full-time, have a family and have a HUGE passion for photography but if I pass this year I will go into my final year and can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
How spooky ... before photographing the spine of the Welsh Bible today I made many unsuccessful attempts at a shot such as this! Very nice, well composed, well lit, nice treatment.... and that handwriting is so legible!
I do like the fact that you've chosen not to make the pages appear white. That's something I'm starting to see - interpreting what you want the image to be rather than making a life-like copy.
Firstly good luck with the revision and the exams - scary! You have a busy a full life going on at the moment:0)

cool shot - I find studying / working difficult when there are so many more interesting things to do! but, keeping focused always reaps results in the end!
