2012: I am now in year two, as of October 17th. I had doubts about being able to complete year one, now I feel the same about year two. Maybe on my second time around I'll learn a bit more about photography but don't count on it. Digital Photography for Dummies will likely remain untouched this year, too.

2011: I really love this site though it consumes half my life. The sense of community here is truly addictive. I am very grateful for all the follows I have gotten from some wonderful people who are super generous with their comments and with their kind praise for my pictures. They keep me going everyday. There are many incredibly talented people on 365 whose photos I want to hang on my walls but whose skills and creativity make me very jealous and sometimes I want to flush my camera down the toilet because I'll never be that good. I live with my husband in a suburb of Washington, D.C.
