I've said since day 1 that I would not do a self portrait. I'm just not comfortable with the idea of a bunch of strangers looking at me. Imagine my surprise when this week's tag challenge landed on self and portrait. Interestingly, I enjoyed the self portrait experience so much I took two and had a very hard time deciding which one to upload.
I love it!! Soft and pensive and really shows off your eyes. And I love the green background against your red hair, such a pretty colour combination. The only thing I would suggest is that next time you use that green background more to your advantage and don't include the doorway, just to have an unbroken backdrop. But all in all, well done! I'm really looking forward to seeing your next one:)

I will keep your suggestion in mind in case I ever feel the need to do another one, which I highly doubt after I post the one tomorrow that was my second choice for todays.
I think the yellowish reflection is wonderful and it doesn't make YOU look yellow ... more like sunshine reflecting off your face as if you were looking at the window. I really like this unique self portrait!
