What does autofix do anyway? I've never tried it.
Anyways, fantastic capture of this duck ruffling his wings up - was he angry because you mentioned Jani's name?
@pwallis
Auto fix is supposed to fix the exposure of the photo so that it is most natural to what you shot. This doesn't always work though, sometimes it makes photos look really goofy. I'll post an example tomorrow. Ha! I did think of Jani when I shot this photo. I did not mention him though in case I offended the bird and lost my shot. lol.
@janmaki
Okay, this is the second day you've commented on a photo without giving me a critique. You're starting to scare me. lol. I agree bird shots are cool. I obviously enjoy taking one or two. :)
@mej2011 haha, these are hard to critique actually. OK, it would be great if the other duck wasn't back there, since it's a bit distracting. But what can you do, it's a snap of a moment in time.
@janmaki
I agree that it would be great if the other bird was gone. I thought for a long time about how I might be able to edit him out and came up with nothing. What about the feet at the upper right?
@mej2011 It's quite difficult to get rid of that bird in editing, unless you do some heavy blurring etc. But I think it would look more distracting than the bird itself. The feet on upper corner, didn't actually even notice them at first. But yeah, the color is quite catchy. You could use Picnik's Sepia tool, select similar tone than the ground there. Then paint the feet only to sepia tone. That way no one would ever know there's duck feet there... except for me :)

I did consider blurring, but couldn't get a proper percentage.
Thanks Mary!
Thank you Sondra!
