DSCN5777

I've wanted to photograph this old shed for a long time, but I don't believe I've ever gotten around to doing it. The weather was really nice today, so I took a stroll through my backyard and decided to finally get the shot. Apparently taking a stroll through my yard does not give me the same inspiration that strolling through a park does, this is really the only decent shot I got today.
Anyways, editing consisted of Picnik's auto fix, black and white, and then 1960's effect without the rounded edge. I happen to like the framing on this one.
I really like the natural framing you've got going on here! I think this is a shot that would have been fun to play with the clarity tool in picnik:)

You're right. I just went back onto picnik and tried the clarity tool. It would have looked much better. I'll have to remember to run each picture through the clarity tool.

sometimes I wish I had an ace membership. ha ha. I'll save the edit and who knows, maybe I'll put it up one day, or I can just fb it to you.

Agree with the clarity, agree with the framing. There's a certain spooky feel to this shot ? Is it a spooky shed or am I just a huge sissy ?

@janmaki
I will work on the framing. Personally I do not find the shed to be spooky. Maybe you just don't like the editing?

@mej2011 I mean I liked the framing... and the shed is spooky, not your editing :-)
