This weekend here is the Great Backyard Bird Count here in the states. As such, I've spent most of the day counting birds. Caught this beauty (female Cardinal)enjoying some sunflower seeds right before I stopped count for the day.
Editing consisted of a small crop and rotate in Ribbet.
Oh hello! I finally made it over to check out this shot you were talking about:) (Busy night last night!) And look at the light you captured here - you finally got one of them to pose for you the way you wanted so the light falls on the face. Love the detail on the eye there - it's absolutely perfect. Fav for me.
