Taken yesterday at a local nature preserve. This Bald Eagle (from what I've read, the male and female are similar in appearance so I am not sure which this is) was watching me very closely, I don't know if they wanted me to go away or feed them.
Unfortunately, the barriers between the trail and the bird's living quarters plus the fencing made getting photos a bit difficult. If anyone has any suggestions on what I might do next time, please let me know.
Editing consisted of a small crop in Ribbet. Aperture mode, 55-200 lens.
Shame you couldn't get closer to the fence. Using the open aperture you did along with the 200mm focal length will take the fence out if you can get closer. Just be sure to focus on the eagle which it looks like you did.
Hi Melissa, I am your Get Pushed partner for next week. I'll take a good look at your postings over the next couple of days and sort out a challenge for you.
I am wondering if you are still posting photos? But here's a challenge anyway: I notice that most of your images are in very subdued colours, so I challenge you to create an image on the theme of 'Multi-Coloured'.
Thanks for the challenge!
