My last two "Get Pushed" challenges have been self portraits. This past week, @overalvandaan challenged me to a high key self portrait. I actually really like high key portraits so I was excited to give this a go. As you can see, I struggled. Unless I was manually pressing the shutter button down and thus really close up to my camera, things were either completely out of focus or the tripod was angled too high or too low. This is a concept I will keep working on .

Thanks Lisa! I do have a timer on my camera. I would set the timer and then move away from the camera. Apparently, while moving away from the camera I would inadvertently hit it because the focus always ended up moving on me. I don't have a remote, so I don't know, that might be helpful.
Still a cool selfie, Melissa. Love the blue of your eyes popping out. It is difficult to, with timer, to get the focus right. I really appreciate it that you went for the challenge and tried!

You know, your profile picture looks very familiar, but I don't remember any Paula being on here in a LONG time. :) Thanks for the kind words!
