Aperture Priority mode. 18-55 Lens. Editing consisted of converting to black and white in Ribbet, recoloring the eye in Ribbet, upping the contrast to 100% in Photoshop Elements 12 and then a slight crop in Ribbet.
i like this! i think the minimalist comp and the black and white processing work well... in general, i don't think the background is too busy... i think you need something to anchor the image, give a bit of context... the only thing is, if it were me, i might try to downplay the two bits of bokeh in the back... not sure about this - just something i might try to see whether i like the result better or not... but as it stands now, yeah - i think this works nicely :)
