I'd been talking to a co-worker the other day about photography, and he asked if I'd done any HDR shots. He reminded me that my camera has an Auto Exposure Bracketing mode (so much about my camera that I haven't taken the time to try - bad me!), so I thought I'd give it a go. I'd hoped to head over to the Bowery, but I didn't have time so I wandered around the neighborhood by my office instead. I loved the way the afternoon sun looked reflecting off the windows of the building on the north side of the block onto the Price Building, which houses one of Old Navy's flagship stores. I apologize in advance - I feel an HDR kick coming on. This could definitely be addictive!

Congrats on your 700th! Way to go, Melissa! That's terrific!

Like this shot. It's the different shapes of the blocks and bricks, the ornate elements, the reflection in the windows and the light! Mesmerizing! You shot this at just the right time of day!!! GREAT work!

wonderful, great lighting and detail. I didn't know the 7 D had a bracketing mode either. Just got mine as well, thanks for the tip, I will check it out. FAVORITE.

@jpvona Check page 105 in your manual - it explains how to set it (it's super easy, but they'll explain it better than I will!).
