Some of the warmth of this shot was lost in translation, but I loved the warm, evening light on the Empire State Building. I think partially I liked it so much because it's been so rainy and crappy here lately that it was nice to see the sun again. By the time I got up to Times Square, it had already clouded over again.
Not quite how I imagine NY. Could almost be any city except for icons, but then again I thought Paris was dowdy and overly class conscious. So much for the revolution!
There is no place like N.Y....every street or avenue has a different personality just like the people! love your pov and composition ! N.Y, is my fav! So I fave you too! :)
Very nice light, great capture! Everything looks so fresh and bright. Hope your weather improves soon. We're having the same problem on this coast too! :op
The lighting and sky really do take your eyes up. Very nice. Did you get any of the photos of Design Star from hgtv. They filmed at the train station. I loved seeing it, cause I have seen it so many times through your eyes. It just made me think of you when I saw the episode :-)
@hown Sorry I missed this earlier - crazy day at work. Unfortunately week days don't work for me since I'm in the city during the week. We'll have to plan something for another time then.
