Emergency

Another shot from our NYC meet-up. This old emergency call box on Roosevelt Island caught my eye and I spent some time exploring it from different angles and looking at different textures. I would have loved to have a tow truck to move the cars that were parked behind it, but I was able to keep them out of the shot from this angle. Of course from this angle, I wasn't able to get a good shot of the box itself, but the base had more interesting textures anyway.

At a quick glance this looked like FONY, a badly spelled Phoney!
But i am sure it is a real one :)

@digitalrn I think so. There are a ton of these throughout the city, some of them in better shape than others.

Very nice! I like the rustic of this and texture. The 4 is great! The raised lettering is great. Well, you have to capture how every to get the stuff out of the shot and I think you did an excellent job! Maybe a weekend day would be less cars? (Maybe) Anyways, I like it! :-)
