Late afternoon had arrived and I didn't have a photo. Both back and front gardens were in shadow, so in desperation I picked this lovely Jerusalem artichoke flower to bring inside to photograph. I was very pleasantly surprised when this little ladybird popped out from the back of the flower. After a quick photo session I released her back into the garden.
