We've decided to have a couple of days in the Swan Valley, so we hooked up the caravan and booked into a park. We usually do it as a day trip and there is never enough time to really explore the area. Graham was getting a bit toey standing by the river. He really wanted to be in a canoe paddling through the rapids, the problem is that the spirit is willing but the body - not so much.
I really need to get some ND filters for my Olympus. This was the slowest shutter speed that I could get without one. (IMHO it's not bad for hand held .)
Well, I think you're going to love my response... I saw this and thought, "I really must get out my as-yet-unused ND filter and try something like this! (I also much get back to regions that have water falls!) I thought you were using a filter, so yes, I think it's quite excellent! And good for you, staying around a bit longer to enjoy your visit!
@narayani We were invited to join our neighbours for a birthday lunch at brewery up here so we decided to make a weekend of it. Now the lunch is going to be a bbq at their place because the brewery couldn't accommodate the group, so we won't make it after all 😂
1/4 second hand held. Well done! You have a much steadier hand than me. I can recommend Gobe filters. (I think they have changed their name to Urth now) They are Australian made, good quality and reasonably priced. I have used them for quite some time now and have found no sharpness or colour cast issues. Avoid cheap filters; they are cheap for a reason.
