We spent the afternoon with at our son's. Matthew regularly sends me photos of the blue wrens but when I visit with my camera they usually make themselves scarce. The purply colouration on the top images is because he was sitting on the aerial on Matthew's red ute and the colour reflected onto the lighter blue feathers on his belly.
