I Mistimed This One DSC_9649

This was a perfect dandelion seed head this morning and I should have photographed it then but didn't have time. It was late afternoon by the time I remembered it and by then it was in shadow and most of the seeds had blown away. I carefully picked it, sheltered it from the breeze and brought it inside. As I placed it on my black paper it fell apart.
This is so pretty! It tells natures story.
