Today we joined two cultural celebrations in the city. The first was the Thai Songkran Festival (Thai New Year), where we met up with my late brother's fiancée. The second was a multi-cultural festival in another part of the city to celebrate Buddha's birthday.
These lovely ladies were trying to sell the remaining food on their stall. We had a lovely time as I made my purchases and I summoned the courage to ask for a photo.
Another person who used to be on 365 lived in Montreal and every weekend she would find another celebration. It was so fun to see these. Do you have a lot of these in your area. What a source for pictures.
@joansmor I don't usually check Joan. I wanted to go out for the day, so I googled "What's on in Perth today" and struck it lucky. I should check more often because we are very multi cultural. The city is a 35 minute train trip from home.
