Stromatolites, Hamelin Pool_DSC4867

After a great three days in Denham, to enjoy the celebrations for the 400th Anniversary of Dirk Hartog's landing, we're back at Hamelin Pool for another three nights. The tide was very low this afternoon and most of the stromatolites were above the water. They don't look like much, but it's amazing to know that they are ancient, living organisms.
