Sadly we couldn't get another night in the Barossa, but we did manage to check out a couple of places before leaving, starting with morning tea at Maggie Beer's Farm Shop, delicious. The quince orchard was bursting with fruit and the fragrance was lovely.
After several phone calls, we managed to find an unpowered site at Auburn, listed as the gateway to Clare Valley. It's a lovely historic little town.
Shame you could not get another night in the Barossa but I am sure you will love the Clare Valley too.
