This morning we did a tour of the historic Fremantle Prison with my camera club. One of our members volunteered to be our convict for the day.
Fremantle Prison is the largest convict built structure in Western Australia and is the most intact convict establishment in the southern hemisphere. It is also Western Australia's only World Heritage listed building. Building commenced in the 1850s and Fremantle was a maximum security gaol from 1887 until it closed in 1991
What a sensational image Merrelyn! We've visited some of the gaols, and they're quite sobering! Your model for the day has a proper, natural look about him that conveys what you want to share. Beautifully photographed!
