I have borrowed a friend's 400mm lens to see if I can manage the weight. After a bit of trial and error I'm hooked.
Wow, I've just noticed that this is the 1500th photo in my main album.
How funny. I have just today taken delivery of a 400mm lens on rental! It's so much heavier than my camera, and very exciting to hold. With the hand piece underneath, it's much more stable than I'd thought though. I'm looking forward to trying it out a bit - if only it would stop raining long enough. Your photo is beautiful!
And I bet itâs not that much heavier than this one. It is their new one that as I remember is less than $2000. I would have bought it in a heartbeat if I werenât pretty much moving over to Sony
Congratulation on 1500 pictures in your main album. how do you count them when you have a total of all your albums counting from the first photo to 2162. Beautiful bird and flower, fav.
Congrats on your 1500th!! Love this shot, it's so crystal clear and sharp. If you're into this sort of photography I'd say a lens like that is a must. Not my cuppa tea so I'm not tempted.
@bruni Thanks Bruni, the number under the photo shows how many shots you have posted in that album. If you check each of your albums they will probably show different numbers:)
