Cliff Point, Garden Island DSCN2612

I spent the morning at HMAS Stirling, Western Australia's Naval Base. The base is located on Garden Island which is connected to Rockingham by a causeway.
The island has historical and environmental importance. Much of the island is still as it was before European settlement and is free of human disturbance and introduced animals. Cliff Point is the site of the first settlement in Western Australia.
