Happy new year everyone, I hope that you have a safe and happy 2020.
My planned sunset shoot with the new camera was a disaster. I'd somehow managed to set the ISO at 12800 and couldn't work out how to change it. Needless to say when we got home again I spent a while on the computer going through more of the manual.
Good luck with your new Oly. I have had a EM10 mark 1 for years and still can't find my way round it - BUT - it does wonderful star trails & long exposures. (Live composite)
Your marigold is pretty,
hope you and Oly have a good and happy future together

that was my frustration with my olympus, too, merrelyn. and i still get frustrated with it every now and then. but i carry it with me all the time now as it is much lighter on the shoulder. i hope you had a good new year's celebration. all the best!
@summerfield Thanks Vikki, we had a very quiet new year celebration with Graham's sister and brother in law. The weight was one the main reasons for buying the Olympus.
ooohhhh -- a new camera, a new toy! And while your sunset didn't work out this time, it will some day, and for now you have a beautiful marigold with reflection!
@jgpittenger It wasn't an easy decision to make Jane. I love my Nikon gear but we're off to Africa at the end of May and my 28-300mm lens wasn't going to cut it. I wasn't relishing the idea of adding another couple of kgs to my already weighty camera bag. The Olympus came highly recommended and it's so much lighter. Another bonus is that my sister has the same camera so I can pick her brain when I come unstuck :)
