This afternoon we drove to the Alcoa Wetlands for a walk. There were so many birds on and around the lakes. I was hoping for a shot of a whistling kite in flight but they were too quick for me. As I managed to get focus they disappeared into the trees. When I realised that there were six or more sitting in a nearby tree, I decided to take the easier option for a shot and was very pleased with results.
