Even The Seagulls Had Trouble Flying DSCN2767

As we drove round the beaches this afternoon, we could see and feel the storm front building.
The weather bureau is forecasting overnight wind gusts of up to 125kms an hour.
I love being at the beach in weather like this. I was pleased that I had taken my little point and shoot rather than one of my "real" cameras because the wind was really whipping up the sand.
A great shot!

It does look rather wild. I see most of the seagulls were wise enough to stay on the ground, but there is one foolish one trying to fly into the wind.

We had wild weather here a few days ago and I agree with you it is lovely walking on a beach in wild weather, it really blows the cobwebs away.

Some “white horses” out in the waves. Invigorating, but for some reason high winds bring out scatty and fearful feelings for me.

I like the mix of industry and nature. The layers work well.
