Some of our restaurants are now open so we headed to a beachside cafe lunch. The plan was to then have a walk along the beach but it started to drizzle as we started our walk. We managed a slightly longer walk at Point Peron but which was also cut short by rain. At least I managed to get a couple of photos.
i should like to have a place like this to go to when i retire, just for the health aspect and photography, you see. it's always uplifting to walk barefoot in the wave-washed sand. aces!
@summerfield Point Peron is one of my "happy places". I have so many wonderful childhood memories of clambering around the point and I love that we now live only a 10 minute drive away.
@narayani Lucky you, we tried Rockingham beach, Point Peron and Shoalwater. Each time we got a couple of hundred metres from the car it started raining :)
Beautiful, I can see why it is your happy place. A bit like me with Birubi beach. Anywhere where there are rocks and ocean is peaceful though whatever the weather.
