I heard several of these beautiful when we were at our son's place this morning. Just after we left Graham pulled over to check the trailer brakes and this fellow was sitting in a tree just in front of us.

How wonderful to spot this magnificent bird. We only see yellow tailed cockatoos here these days . I think red tailed black cockatoos are very rare. I haven't seen one here in the wild for a long time.
