Kangaroo Paws.....

for August words - diptych
This morning we managed a very quick walk through part of the Kwinana Wildflower Reserve. Even though it was drizzling, it was a lovely walk. Many varieties of wildflowers have started to bloom. The beautiful red and green kangaroo paw (Anigozanthos manglesii) is Western Australia's floral emblem.
