For Rainbow - red
I thought that these beautiful looking fruit were cashew apples (the fruit from which a cashew nut grows) but they are actually rose apples - Syzgium jambos . They are related to neither roses nor apples but are closely related to guavas.

@judithdeacon Yes they are Judith. They're quite crisp and juicy but not something I could eat a lot of.

@golftragic They were given to me by the owner of our local Thai restaurant. She has a friend in Mandurah who has a huge tree. The flavour and texture is similar to lily pillies.
