Today ME is another year older. I used to look forward to my B'Day, but not so much any more. I guess I feel like time is running fast and I still got so much to do. Though each year brings new things - like this past year with 365! And my wife got me a new ultra-wide angle lens which I really wanted. But the best present of all was that my two sons who were away at college just got home for the summer, and with my teenage son and wife, we are all together again.
Happy Birthday, my friend! It's been a great ride for you. May you have many more happy, healthy years ahead and I wish you much success. Well deserved, ME.

Lovely pensive shot. I love it when my daughter is home fro studying, and i would love it for my husband to buy me a new lens! Sounds like a heavenly day. Aging is under-rated, things just get better at this point of life.

Two of mine are away at school (well one, since the other graduated this weekend), but neither are coming home for the summer. Next year the youngest is graduating high school and he'll be gone. It will be very quiet around here. I feel for you and enjoy those moments as much as you can. They come fewer and far between as the kids get older.

@darsphotos - Thx so much Darlene. Its funny with 2 of the 3 boys away there are times I really wish they were little again. And hearing them all in the house felt great. I'm sure by the end of the summer I can't wait for them to go back to college. Hahaha thx so much your a good friend and appreciate your support.
@michaelelliott You are welcome, Michael. It is so nice to have memories of our kids growing up. I have only one son and he is 27 and still at home. He works full time, plays in our local Junior College Jazz Band and is really good but cannot afford to move out but really wants to. I really enjoy him and the three of us get along pretty good. I too wish he was young again and will miss him so much when he moves out. Time went by so fast. I hear friends say that it is nice to have their kids back off to college after the summer. Yours are just home for Summer, so enjoy them. Have a wonderful time and take lots of photos of them and remember your tripod for family ops or ask someone to snap a family photo when you are together. Surprisingly people are happy to oblige. Then you have more memories and maybe some fun photos to post here.
