Hot Skateboarder!

This past week I participated in a photography challenge and in my area was a Skate Park.
@ltodd Thoughts? I replaced the background completely with another picture of mine from the same area, left the bottom skate ramps, added dispersion for height, motion and intensity, added shadow of skater, textured overall and added some atmosphere for effect and to tie everything together.

fantastic colour toning Mike - I love, love the orange/blue balance & pop through the whole image. :) Background textures of water, sky & concrete are perfect, and I always think your dissolution is amazing... the two sections blend perfectly in dimension. The only things I might have done diff are slight more blue tone to the shadow colour, and move the back image more to the left in relation to the skater ( unless where he is positioned was your specific compositional intention?). ( I now use content aware fill if I run short of frame space ). The painterly effect on the background is the perfect opacity & strength IMO. And now I am looking at the colour balance again....man...I really love this colour work. :) A very professional looking edit Mike!!

I have no earthly idea how you did this but I wanted to come back and see what @ltodd had to say about it. A lot of what she said made no sense to me either but it made me look at it more closely and appreciate it even more. You two have mad mad skills

I think it's a very artsy super cool image. I don't really like his left hand on fire. As a nurse, I feel I should apply bandages. Otherwise it's a fav!
