Since really getting into 365, I've kidded that I could spot a bird at 100 yards and a butterfly at 50. Well, we were visiting the museum grounds and I was busy checking out the flowers hunting butterflies and colorful little things. I finished my round and returned to my husband waiting patiently in front of the entrance. As we start to leave, he asks "Did you get a picture of the tree?" Me: "What tree?" Directly across from the entrance is this 60' tall aluminum sculptured tree - I had never seen it. May take a while to live that down! Had to share.
I feel your pain...or pleasure! Cool looking tree for sure.

Cool shot or a cool tree sculpture. I have missed things too in my "photo safaris". I am glad your husband pointed this out to you.

Haha ... what is that saying "couldn't spot the trees through the forest" or something like that! Sometimes we need someone with us with a different perspective. I was at the beach the other day, and I who puts hours and hours into photography, didn't get half as nice of pictures as my friend. She found all kinds of great stuff to photograph that I totally missed!

LOL! Well, I guess it depends how you're tuned in. Still, you made up for it with a really nice composition and capture. And I'd love that tree in my garden as well as some living ones.
