She/he knew what to do - freeze! Not even an eyelash moved for five minutes. I sat on the pine needles and played with the young robin. When I backed off and turned my head just a second, the youngster scooted for safety.
Wonderful capture. I love that bit of yellow around their beaks that makes them still look like babies. I raised three of these once, and they are quite the characters. fav
