Here. although your lens is zoomed out to the same extent as in the previous shot (300mm) and the aperture setting is the same, your background is closer to the butterfly, so there is more detail in the background. You may have been standing closer to your butterfly here as well, perhaps?
@dulciknit I'm seeing what you mean now comparing the two shots. Can't remember how near I was with this butterfly. May have been a little closer. Thanks for all the help in my learning curve! It's much needed.
